About Amy Adele

Amy Adele can be found spending her time drawing and painting or sewing and stitching, with one eye on the window watching for birds!

Amy graduated from University College Falmouth with a Masters in Illustration in 2011 and has been pursuing her career as a children's illustrator ever since. She has recently finished illustrating her first children's picture book to be published in March 2015.

Largely inspired by nature and long muddy walks, Amy likes to escape into the imaginative realm we often visited as children to conjure up ideas for her paintings. Amy loves to spend hours painting small details such as leaves and the patterns on fabric.

Her favourite tools of the trade are watercolour and gouache, but anything from pencil crayons, ink and pastel can find their way into a piece.
