Artist and former Art Therapist originally from Pennsylvania now living in Charlotte, NC. Amy’s background and training as an Art Therapist has provided keen insight into the use of creating art as a means to self-exploration, healing, and transformation. She believes in the power of art-making as a universal language that can become a catalyst for healing. Her paintings and her intuitive process of creating them, has been a vital step in her own journey of healing from past trauma. Through use of color and application of paint, she aims to evoke joy, peace, and hope.
I believe that art has the power to heal, inspire, and transform. My goal as an artist is to create work that not only looks beautiful, but also resonates with the viewer on a deeper level.
My art style is characterized by bold colors, fluid lines, and a sense of movement. I love to experiment with different mediums and techniques to create pieces that are unique and expressive.
I have experience with an array of different medium, including acryIic and oil paint, alcohol ink, fiber art, and digital work. I specialize in the therapeutic process of creating and have a certification as a Registered Art Therapist. Contact me to discuss your ideas!
